The IHM - Shri Shakti has six full fledged training kitchens and bakery. The kitchens are planned by professional chefs taking into consideration all the aspects of students and instructor accessibility and the present professional hotel kitchens.
Pastry and Bakery Labs are equipped according to the international standards keeping in mind the student needs for skill development. Special equipment has been provided for the students in order to attain desired results in the field of sugar confectionery and Couverture Confectionery.
IHM - Shri Shalcti has two fine-dine restaurants open for lunch on all working days and offers a contemporary classical menu with both tablehote and ala carte facility. Students prepare and serve the food using French and English food service styles in the formal dining room. A full fledged display bar has been provided to introduce the student to the basic principles of food and beverage service.
Housekeeping department equipped with latest machines and Tools, laundry machines and flower decorating section. For hands on experience, House Keeping department is attached with a Model Guest Room for students practice.
Developed through the input of industry and academic experts, the front office department educates the student as per the demand of hospitality employers. The method of teaching followed here ensures that we bridge the gap between industry and academia.
Role-playing, situation handling, Automatic and non-automatic Procedures are used for training. The lab is fully equipped with LCD computers and IDS- Hotel Management Software to update the Students with latest technology used in the Hotels.
Well equipped language lab with advanced interactive software helps the students to enhance their communication skills.
A well equipped computer lab with necessary software to teach and train student in computing skills.Language lab for honing spoken English amongst is an added benefit.
